Have noticed on several engineering consoles and one science console that give a % bonus or resist are not giving the proper % and also not stacking correctly as well.
Console-egineering - Diburnium mk 3
+10% phaser and disrupter damage resistance
yet when equipped it only gives a 9.1% resist and if you equip two of them the resist amount goes to only 16.6%
Console -engineering-Tritanium alloy mk4
+7.5% kinetic and all energy damage resistance
yet when equipped it only gives a flat 7%
Console-enginnering-Ablative hull armor mk4
+9.4% phaser/disrupter/plasma/tetryon damage resistance
yet when equipped only gives a 8.6%
I have also mixed and matched the consoles to see what % are given with certian matches and each time the % were off and did not matter which one i installed first the amount came out to be the same each and every time.
Diburnium mk3 and Tritanium mk3 came up to only 14.9% resistances
Diburnium mk3 and ablative mk4 came up to only 16.2%
Ablative mk4 and tritanium mk3 14.4%
I checked to see if second console only gave 75% or 50% due to stacking and the amounts were incorrect for that assumption so that is not why the number % is off.
and finally the one science console i found that gave a % to alive crew and crew recovery rate.
Console-science-biofunction monitor mk4
+15% alive crewman and +15% crew recovery rate
yet when equipped the crew complement was not changed the crew recovery rate did not change and alive crew did not change.
so the science console had no effect whatsoever.

I can confirm this. It has no effect whatsoever.

Not a bug, the percentage just aren't what you think they are. Review this thread: http://forums.startrekonline.com/sho...d.php?t=116328

but basically the math is:

1 - (1 /( 1+res))

so +10% phaser and disrupter damage resistance really means: 1- (1/(1+.10)) = 9.09% which is close nuff to what you listed (9.1%)
