I have Intel graphic media acceleratot 3100 and it says i cant run it with good graphics. What can i do short of replacing the card to fix it? How hard is it to replace the card? How much is a good one? What is a good one?

Thanks

You will have to get a new card to play the game.

I need to know what kind of computer you have.

How much depends on the computer you have.

How hard again depends on the system you have.

Baka is correct, I've got an ATI 4870 which was a higher-end card a few months back and it MAXES it out. Your graphics chip will not handle STO except at MAYBE very low resolutions with no graphic effects.

Personally I go for at least series 8 nvidia as their updates are dead easy to get.
On the question of ease, it is relatively easy to disconnect the graphics (chip?) that came with your pc as factory standard (this is what i assume it is) is never good enough and then install via cd-rom the new card.
I know its daunting and this may sound unhelpful but the information is there on how to do it and its easier than it seems, i'm no techie and if I can do it, so can anyone!

intel graphics is on the motherboard you don't remove it xD

if your going to get a new video card buy the card at a computer store and ask them to put it in for you if you don't know what your doing

your probably looking at about $80 to $200 for a card depending on how good of a one ya want

but really we need toknow the rest of your computer specs to help cause if ya computer isn't good enought no new card will help much

Ok looking at you system spec you have whats known as onboard graphics ie the graphics card is build in to the motherboard you also have AGP so you options are very limited, I was able to run the game at low settings with some effects with a geForce 6800gt/xt (before i upgraded) and it still lokked and played nice, or you can try and get a ATI Radeon HD 4650 1024MB DDR2 AGP Graphics Card as this is most likly the most upto date card on the old AGP standered!!
But if your luky to have PCI-e on your PC then get a geForce 7950 as there rather cheap and the rated min for this game but if you have the cash get a geForce 8800gtx as this is still (for a 2 year old card) a very good card to have and will run anything!!!
