# 1 T4 and T5 cruiser turn rate
02-05-2010, 08:45 PM
The T4 and T5 Fed Cruiser needs to have its turn rate adjusted. Currently the turn rate is too slow and negatively affects the playability of the ship. It is difficult to effectively line up an enemy, to target an interactive object (such as loot or anomaly). It is almost impossible to rotate the ship to avoid hull damage in combat.

A modest increase to a turn rate of +1 to T and T5 is merited.

Thank you for your attention in this manner.

I'm sure the excorts would like more shields, and the science ships more hull and power.

It's a game balance issue, you probably need to adapt your play style to use a cruiser like a cruiser and get the right consoles and engines to help your turn rate.

Is there still an Ike's Guns in Idaho Falls? I spent six months there in 1984 and that gunshop hept me from going out of my mind.

You do realize the SIZE of these ships right? You cannot expect them to turn on a dime. It would be like trying to turn an 18 wheeler around in your driveway.

I am not talking about a huge increase, but a plus one to the turn rate. This is not the same as adding shields to an escort. If, however, you can articulate WHY the escorts deserve a shield increase, as I gave specific reasons WHY the turn rate of cruisers needed to be increased, I would be happy to listen.

I don't want them to turn on a dime, I want them to TURN.

Yeah, downtown. I've been there once or twice a long time ago (about the same time as you), but I hear its still there. A Sportsman Warehouse came to town, and a few other chain shops that have affected it, but its a legacy.

Boost your Aux power, it helps with the turn rate.

Everyone please read the following first post of this thread:

It literally is not worth the consoles to try and up it.
