The range will only work if players specialized in healing receive recognition for effective healing done (both shield and hull) - as in actual hull/shield restored, not just using heals while on full hull/shields. Else healers get shafted and they progress slower - less incentive for anyone to play support.

Well, that's an outstanding issue with the scoring as it works now anyway. In addition to factoring in healing (and actually counting shields as healing!), they should also really take into account things like % ally damage buffed/% enemy damage debuffed, duration of mez effects on enemy players, friendly players de-mezzed, etc. etc.

It's a seperate (but related) problem.

I haven't played WoW in ...year? Two years? But I recall this being a problem in places such as Alterac bg. Didn't they make it so you could get kicked from an instance? Maybe a voting system or somesuch?
