Is it possible to start a class action law suit?

Maybe if just once gamers stood up for themselves as a whole we could make an example out of one company and scare the rest into only releasing completed products like console games.

The sad part is, you really truly probably believe deep down in your heart that you have a valid point.

Did you know: More Americans are overweight than pay Income Tax. According to recent statistics, 68% are above the average healthy weight, but only around 50% pay Income Tax.

fan boys...

Really.

Buy a condom with a hole in it?
A loaf of bread missing two slices?
a car missing a bumper?

Would you accept these purchases?

Have you ever played an MMO before? Or played any sort of computer game? Bugs happen, down time happens, maintenance needs to happen. It is the nature of designing programs with more than 100 lines of code. I’m not really a big MMO fan, but even I know that the biggest and best (Like WoW) fall prey to bugs, exploits, and ‘unexpected’ server down time. Do a google search for WoW and server and you’ll find more comics and jokes about waiting for the servers to come back up than you can shake a phaser at.

So relax, Cryptic likes this product as much as (almost) any fanboy. They’ll get it fixed, no litigation needed.

And when the servers are running just make with the PewPew and not the QQ.

The sad part is people like you an their apathetic attitude has allowed Game Companies to sell poor products a head of time and thus screwing the rest of us over.

STO has made me consider selling off a 7 digit steam account.

You made an agreement with Cryptic that protects them from lawsuits from you.

Barring massive breach of the contract (which would be very difficult for them to accomplish and take a lot of effort) you can not sue them. And even then they can probably use a clause in the contract to slap you with hefty fines.

Op. So you seriously think before posting?

As for fanboi's, what do you expect when youa re trolling on the official forums.
You're not smart, you are not unique. You will not be able to pose any form of class action lawsuit.

2/10 for the attempt though.

An MMO is never completed, it is constantly being developed... And it's just been released...

As for the downtime, check what you sign for, you agreed to have downtime .

Oh, and console games last me 3 days, so that would be pretty crappy.

Only thing is mmo's are never completed. They are always changing, adding things, etc Console games are meant to be beaten, mmo's are not so they can't be completed.
