How do I get better description on exactly what is the benefits on some of consoles buffs. They tells you get plus number of bonus points to certain areas of ship but what exactly they do in the game for an example; I have a science console that gives me +7.5 Starship Deflector Dish but how is that different from Sensor Array. Is there somewhere I can more information? I want to put the right consoles on my ship for things I aim to do during combat and whatever.

If you right-click on the console and click "Info," it gives you an example list of powers that are enhanced. For some reason I can't do that in the mission rewards screen, but if something's in your inventory you can examine it more closely and find out what it does.
