Roll a klingon. The only pve instance we get lets you both go in together, but the auto grouping for pugs is broken. Go figure. Also you can queue up your team for every pvp match, and killing feds is alot more fun than running through a giant abandoned base for 5 minutes scanning computers only to find out one of them farted and they'd rather beam themselves to the center of the planet than suffer the smell.

I tried but we dont see each other in the STO universe. It's pretty bad...
I had this problem....I didn't know the @handle so I thought it was just me. I was hoping it would just show it to me like it always does when I start to send a tell. But I got an in game friend to run a search for all the toons with my friends characters first name...He found 3 and I knew from the @handle which one it was. Definitely could have been easier to find my friend in game.

It certainly is an obscure part of STO. But I did eventualy figured it out.

Good thing we were both on skipe at the time. Wen we finally connected, it was a lot of fun.

charactername@usename is not that hard to figure out.

It's easier to invite a stranger with the UI than find a friend...
