I'm guessing this one is "working as intended" as bad as it looks but I figured I'd report it anyway:
Tonight I got a 360 [Arc] phaser array for my Vesta. I slotted it aft, and noticed that its beam always fired from aft firing points. If I moved the array to fore, it would use the fore points instead. This can result in bad visuals when an enemy is on the opposite end of the ship, for instance an aft-mounted array firing at an enemy directly in front of me will fire a beam from an aft point through the ship to hit them.
Ideally, this array should make use of all beam array firing points on a ship, fore and aft regardless of where it's slotted, using whichever ones are closer to the enemy and eliminating these clipping issues. I hope this can be done some day, I love this array from a gameplay standpoint but hate the way it looks right now.
