Is there any way to disengage the auto pilot on the sector map and regain flight control of the ship?

Pressing one of your directional keys (WASD) will disengage the auto pilot.

There is a bug related to the autopilot. Sometimes the keys will not interrupt it.

Not ever had that happen.

That's what I'm running into as well. The directional keys {arrows} are not working to break it. I'll try WASD or the throttle.

The movement keys so far have broken the autopilot for me, but moving your ship with the mouse (two buttons) should as well, and it doesn't, and since that's what I always use, it takes me a sec to release that the ship isn't moving where I want it to go.
