Some people need to get the concept of "grace period".
Of course, Cryptic didn't do any of this on purpose. What is going on is due to simply not getting it. There is a big difference between when you do something intentional and when you just don't get it.

When it comes to real business, there is no "grace period." When a company chooses to release at retail what it believes is the final product, it must truly be a final product. It is clearly obvious that Star Trek Online was rushed out the door and they were not prepared for server stability. The whole game lacks depth and it doesn't seem to feel like "Star Trek" to many Star Trek fans.

The company either delivers and makes customers happy, or the company doesn't get it and the customers take their business elsewhere. This game is not the first MMO to exist. You're supposed to learn from the mistakes and failures of others.
