Check out the Ceti-Alpha 7 Fleet, there are a bunch of light RP mature folks there you might find a niche with.

I hear ya, granted I'm only 32 but I was in a guild that had some kids (not all are like this) that only wanted to whine and free stuff LOL, not again!

I can feel for the OP here in a way. Nobody in STO uses spatial and Zone chat rolls by faster than the "emergency maintenance" threads. All I can suggest is if you click with somebody on the boards chat it up and maybe link up in game. Use group chat when you get PUGs during missions, you may be surprised how many respond.
