how does that work..
tested tetryon heavy cannon ( 240dps) and 1149 DPS with rapid fire
VS
Plasma Dual heavy (240dps) and 973 DPS with rapid fire

....wth

ps. i dont have skill points invested in either of the type of dm

Someone did some testing and that's an UI glitch, the dps is the same.

If you keep your mouse over the cannon icon while rapid firing you'll see the DPS changing during the fight
