They have pretty much the same stats as the normal T5's.
Alright alright, call them T5.5 :p

Stats or no stats, a whole group of ships is missing for Klingons, and I would like to know about them.

Naw...make it a strategic carrier. One that is totally stand-off and projects its power from long distances.

Ideally it could cloak, but even if it cant, it'll hide out in the out skirts of maps and send fighters into the combat area.

Cloaked or not, there would easily be ways to detect or find it.

* Follow the bearing the fighters are coming and going from
* Require new commands to fghters emitt a signal that can be used to home in on the Carrier
* Anti-cloak sensor scans
* Higher emissions and detection sources for such a big ship making anti-cloak scans much more effective and at farther ranges against Strategic Carriers.
* Give the carrier weak passive sensors that only work at close ranges(because its too hard to hide an active sensor sinature requied for such a strong tactical/strategic detection of targets and threats at long ranges...meaning you can always see the Carrier efore it sees you), require all long range info be relayed by active scan from the fighters.

This means a Strategic Carrier Skipper would be using the area map a lot(likly on or near full sceen). He'd have a small bubble(12-15...maybe 20km max) around the carrier for short range passive detection of targets/threats. Unlimited range detection for ships on the carrier's team. And a series of bubbles around each fighter of about 50km for friendlies and 25-30km for enemy detection.

Now picture the dynamics of that fight!

Any ships not in the bubbles arent shown.

I think that would be going too far, as it has been pointed out, the actual stat differences between T5 and T5.5 is rather small (more crew, different BO/console layout). It is actually more about allowing more options.

What ships would they add as an extra group of Tier 5 ships? Are not most Klingon ships of the era represented in game already?

Well all T5.5 ships for Feds are new designs developed by Cryptic, so there is no reason not to do the same for Klingons.

True, but what would be the focus of the ships? Make a Tier 5 Battlecruiser with 3 tac boffs instead of 3 engineering Boffs? An actual science ship? I mean, what would you make different from what KDF has already at Tier 5?

Any battlecruiser alternative you make to the NeghVhar will be better than the Neghvar (because who really needs three engineering boff slots?), unless you swap tactical Boffs for Engineering, in which case you just marginalize the raptor even more. Likewise, any change you make to the raptor to make an alternate tier 5 version will just make a ship that is better than the Raptor (not that that's a bad thing- but that's a whole different topic).

Its one thing to say "KDF needs a second set of tier 5 ships like the Fed", and another thing to actually come up with said ships. So what would you put in?

The same as with the Fed ships? Get more crew, toy around with hull/shields/turn rate, consoles and BO slots.

Concerning the Negh`Var and the three Engineering BOs, what is not to like considering how overpowered cruisers and defensive abilities are atm?
