Why do I care if they sell a borg toon on the C-store? I paid for a lifetime sub because I like Star Trek and for rasons I can't explain I liked the BETA of STO.

If a Borg option is available at the C-store I'd be indifferent.

dont give them the same abilities, and bam, its not the same, and then no one can complain they are losing an exclusive bonus

I don't care to play a liberated Borg. But since you can make them look completely human, I made my main a Borg. Haven't noticed the +10% or whatever much.

It would be like if I walked into Subway and got the jumbo sub for an extra 99 cents.

And then the next day the Jumbo sub was on special and cost the exact same as the regular sandwich.

Next year around this time they could very well offer another lifetime sub w/ perks to those who bought the 1yr sub. Who knows, it's just speculation based off what Turbine did for LOTRO people. They offered the lifetime again at anniversary time.

I think it was a good idea to only give lifers Borg characters. Otherwise there would be way to many Borgs running around.

There are a few things I really don't want to see running around everywhere. Borg are among them. Certain races are special for their uniqueness. I'd rather not see them become that common. And this is from a Lifetime subsriber who has chosen not to use the Borg they offered her, for precisely that reason.

Same for me.

Heck they can make them free and at setup for everybody for all I care. My primary character isn't a borg anyway.

I got lifetime for the 2 extra slots, as I already have 5 characters now

4 federation (human (sci) , borg (tactical) , trill (engineer), vulcan (sci)) and 1 klingon.
