Fix Science Team III please, devs.
9 points in the Scientist skill does NOT allow you to train BOFFs in Science Team III, as the tooltip states.
By trial and error, some scientist captains confirm that you unlock Science Team II by putting 9 points into Doctor, which makes no sense, convention-wise or tooltip-wise.
Yes, I know there's threads about this already, but this bug is crucial to science captains, and needs to be addressed.

It used to be medical team before, hence the points in doctor...someone just didnt bother to change the prerequisite skill

Aha! I knew it!!

I was wondering why 9 ranks in Doctor was allowing me to train Science Team III and if Science team III is broken at Scientist, now it seems like it is.

Are you a Science Officer, or you an Engineer or Tactical Officer? Because you can only unlock Level III skills that are within your profession.

Cryptic really should colorize these skills that inform you that your profession is unable to unlock those particular skills.

Yes, I'm a scientist captain, with a science vessel.
It's too bad there's not more of us... imagine the forum rage that would be brewing if the bazillion tactical captains couldn't use High Yield Torpedoes III on their bazillion escort ships.

Does anyone know if there's ever been an official response to this issue? It's not even classified as a 'known issue' if you do an in-game bug report.
