I've been rubberbanding. Just adding my voice to the chorus.

Last hour or so was the worst rubberbanding I've ever had so far, almost unplayable.

The only time I got any rubberbanding of any kind was durring the beta.Ever since launch I haven't had any issues with it,although I am on fios with a 35down/35up FIOs connection.

The rubberbanding has continued for me, in fact has only gotten worse since the 'fix". It's in every zone I go through, regardless of population. This is the routine I'm suffering now, Log in, rubberband around for five to ten minutes, get "Server Not Responding" then dropped back to login, Lather, rinse repeat. All through beta and headstart up to a few days past launch I had excellent connection, but since about the patch before last weekend on this is how it's been. I love the game but it's hard to play in five to ten minute increments.

Yesterday I didn't experience any rubberbanding. Also load times where improved. Maybe it was a fluke? I'm happy though

Hey All,

Ok to clear a few things up,

1.) This server side fix was meant to resolve a specific cause of rubberbanding. This was one of the bigger issues which required immediate attention.

2.) Now that this fix is on Holodeck, the best way to report further issues of rubberbanding is by logging into IRC either #sto or #stoqa. Then PM me directly with the full map name, the instance number and how bad and how long you've been encountering the rubberbanding.
  • In order to see what instance you are in, do a /who on yourself. If you widen the location tab it will display your instance number. We are also working on a solution to have the instance number displayed in a more convenient location.

3.) If for whatever reason you cannot or elect to not join IRC, you can still submit the rubberbanding reports via the forums, Star Trek Online Discussion and the PC & Technical Issues forums are most likely to gain visibility on our end.

I hope this clears up some of the questions you've all had.

I'm getting rubber banding and disconnections to login every five minutes in every sector, system and zone I've been in, every one. I never had a problem till after one of the patches before last weekend. It's only getting worse, started with getting disconnected after 20 or so minutes, as of today, I literally can't go longer than five minutes.
