I am a LT Commander 11 now. I thought you did your 10 grades and your promoted. At least that is what it did before when I was a LT. It says grade complete but still need to spend so many points. I have no more skill points to upgrade myself or crew. So does that mean simply I need more missions for more skill points?? I am pretty far along in the missions and even getting some mark V stuff that I cant use yet.

You might just b e at a point where you don't have enough skill points to spend on a skill. And you still need to spend like 10 more points to official reach the new rank. You have to have spent the at least the number of points needed.

Same thing happen to me - Lt Cmd 11

you just need to spend the correct amount of points in your skills to move up to commander
