Thank you for the post, however most of this is common knowledge for anyone who cares about their power levels. What we're lacking is the quantitative information of power level vs effect. Some of this has been deduced by the community, but a dev response would solidify what we are presuming.

Adding Power to Weapons - Increases energy weapon damage.
Adding Power to Shields - Increases shield regeneration.
Adding Power to Engines - Increases Starship Speed.
Adding Power to Auxillary - Increases Turn Rate, Cloaking and Cloak Detection.

---

XX weapon power will increase damage by +YY%
XX shield power will increase regen by +YY%
XX engine power will increase speed by +YY%
XX aux power will increase aux systems by +YY%

Reason is simple: if you are in the middlest of combat and everywhere around is fire and explosions, you dont find your mouse pointer at once and even more, if you are flying a nimble escort!!! If you have to search your pointer for a few seconds, then hit the power allocation... for sure, your target is out of your focus

Or is there ANY workaround actually implemented??

QFFT.

As I said before - copy this guy's work and use it instead. It's FAR more detailed than the cryptic Cryptic will ever be.

I'm expanding my info and looking deeper into the forums when I happened across this thread. Since it's a sticky, maybe Falkoren (or another Cryptic person) could update this post. As of the Season 1.1 update the Turn Rate is now determined by one's Engine Power level. It would be nice if Cryptic, et al, kept Dev-started stickies updated. I understand there are many power changes coming with the new Seasons, please do update then too. Thanks!

BTW, if anyone is interested in how their traits, skills, consoles, etc. affect their power levels, and want to play with those numbers before rolling a new character or respec'ing an oldie, take a look at my Ship Power Level Calculator.

It really only used for crusiers its helpful however there are other way to improve turn rate. other than Emergency power to Aux.

There's equipment
Captain skills

If you don't pump your turn with a crusier then you looking at about 90 degree turn radius at max impulse.
