I'm listening to the audiobook, and I heard something that I thought was pretty spooky. Keep in mind this book was written in 2000. Anyway, here is the sentence:

"Not just any movie either, but the sort of James Cameron extravaganza where the catering costs alone would amount to enough to feed the people of Haiti for two years."

Kinda gave me the spooks

Somewhat similar is the Tom Clancy book Debt of Honor, where the ending of the book portrays a JAL 747 being flown into the Capitol dome during a meeting of both houses to swear Jack Ryan in as President. The book came out in the mid-90's, but on 9/11/2001 and watching the footage from NYC and Washington, DC, I was just a bit shocked at how similar both situations were.

I read Dreamcatcher, saw the movie, loved both. Yeah I'm probably lame.

Asking if I've ever read anything by Stephen King is like asking if anyone on these forums might possibly be a Star Trek fan. :p

That being said, Dreamcatcher was alright. Not even close to his best work, the Dark Tower series, but not his worst.
