1char = 10char = forum requires at least 10 characters in a post, so added to fill the space.

This is because, especially in tier 2, the salvage maps are more difficult due to not having a tank type ship. Damage alone does not win that map and keeping a BoP decloaked so that others can line up an attack on it is not a wise decision and you have to keep it decloaked in order to capture the control points.

In higher tiers you have to remember that the klingons have a mission which rewards them for playing in 7 hostile engagements. Notice that I said hostile engagements. This mission does not tick over for the salvage maps, so playing a salvage map is, if you are trying to catch up to the rest of your fleet who all are in tier 5 and not suiciding all the time but actually trying to win the maps, a loss of around 20 skill points per salvage map played. Add to this that klingons really have to at the top of their game to have a chance on those maps due to a generally better staying power of the 10 man fedball that always seem to come together and full impulse around the map as one entity, I don't see the point in queuing for that map and, it would appear, neither do a lot of other klingons.

stop talking !!! NI !

Klingons do Cracked planetoid as its fast and exp per hour is best from that (PvE mission is retardedly boring).

But still the exp per hour from PvP is not balanced if compared to PvE exp from missions in Fed side or Klingon side.

Well feds prefer the salvage maps, as there are less ganks and klingons have to move and uncloak to the points, else they loose. Its kinda logical. Although win/loose doenst matter much without ladder etc.

I prefer the salvage maps, because there is an honest to God objective. Free for all maps are stupid. It takes no intelligence to lay out a zone and say, "kill each other"

If they would make more objective maps,..I would play those.

They should just have a bunch of maps and then you que for "No Objective" and "Objective" map types..and then you are all thrown into a random map of that type. Would freshen things up..and compress the que a bit.

You do realize that if you can't get into cracked (0-30) queue for whatever reason (e.g. feds don't want to deal with certain ******** that is in the game atm), and the queue for capture and hold is 120-0, that said capture and hold might be faster xp than pve and cracked?

It's human nature to favor an environment that plays to your strengths. Capture and hold plays to the feds strengths in that the Klinks have to actually decloak (god forbid) when doing something other than trying to gank an escort (like capturing a point).

Cant wait for FvF though. If the current population dynamic is any indication, it will be nice solid 120 or "60-60" queue all day long for capture and hold and whatnot.

öööööö Fed fleet mission farming is your best and fastest source of exp, also you get loot at the same time and end reward blue/green (top5). ( do map, instance jump to next that is underway (jump as long as you find one that is going on)).

PvP exp is crap (minute:exp)

Lol hey Bloodlance. This is so true. But then again its mostly Klingons who are beyond T4. There is a few feds but most of them didn't PVP to hit admiral.
