the last couple of days I tried to optimize my character build and started to collect some data. Because I couldn't find anything which cleary showed what skills are good for which powers I made an Excel sheet. I quickly realized this could help others aswell, so I put some work in it and are proud to share the result. It isn't perfect yet, but I think it's good enough for a release. Be free to share it and message me, if u have found errors or want to enlight me in some things
- Enginnering Team Skills were wrong, they should be right now (the skill text ingame was wrong "Starship Subystem Repair" don't enhance this skill. It is "Starship Engine Maintenance")
- added some missing Tactical Skills
- marked skills you get with your captain (Lt., Lt.Cmd., Cmd., Cpt.)
When you put "tested and checked", I'm curious what you mean by that. I assume that at a very minimum you've looked at the detailed info for the powers. Have you compared the powers with different skill levels too to see if there's an actual difference as well?
I first looked at the descriptions of the skills ingame.
Than I tried to test if the info there is correct.
I did this by taking notes of the numbers which each skill shows (from the overlay when you move the mouse cursor over the skill)
After that I used some skill points and checked the skills again.
Another test I did was buying different Consoles/Deflectors and switched them in/out to see which of them changed the numbers of the skills.
That way I could test pretty much of the skills. Some I can't like Photonic Fleet or Feedback Pulse.
There could still be errors in the list, because I am far from perfect. But I contantly keep testing.
