Anyone who's taken the leap of faith and singed up for a lifetime sub.. we may be the only people playing this game a year from now. I searched and couldn't find a similar thread to this so say hello if you're a lifer! It'll be interesting to see how many of us there are.

I'm one.

I'm here, I only bought it so I don't pay while I wait a year and a half fo the game to actually finish being developed.

Lifetime subscriber. Looking forward to Guild Wars 2 as well, so I got the lifetime so I'd feel no pressure to devote every waking hour to STO in order to get my money's worth. I don't see this game disappearing in less than 2 years, and will probably be around for at least 4.

Imagine if it just keeps going like Anarchy Online? That'd be serious value for money

I'm a lifer.
I kinda felt like when I payed to play a game with a monthly fee, I felt as thought I had to play it daily to get my money's worth. I couldn't really justify paying to play if I was only going to play once or twice a week.
Now that the feeling has been eliminated, I am free to play whenever I want.
I'm enjoying the game, and I plan to continue enjoying it.

Yeah, it does kinda take the pressure out of playing.

We've got enough for a 4-man away team now
