We will be bringing down Star Trek Online on Sunday, 2-14-10 from 3:00AM to 5:00AM (PST), in order to perform maintenance. We will update the launcher message once this maintenance has been completed.

Thank you,

The Star Trek Online Team

UPDATE 1: No patch notes for tonight, no new patch. This is all performance and stability maintenance.

UPDATE 2: Maintenance is over, servers are back up!

So...do you guys plan on doing this every day? Not complaining, just genuinely curious.

I am guessing it will be frequent for the next month or so, but taper off after that.

Well last weekend they said they dont like doing it on a weekend so this must be important and not really that scheduled, you would think

Message title is misleading. Some would say flat out wrong, but I can tell you are tired.

Ah yes, it (the uber broadcasting tool) automatically inserts the current date into the post title. Not exactly correct when you are doing a notification about maintenance happening after midnight. I managed to update it, but not before you caught the discrepancy.

I think it's fantastic... You guys have really addressed several of the more strident concerns (that don't involve people basically demanding a completely different game) and I for one am glad to see that you're all working hard to address our (more reasonable) concerns...

Thanks for the hard work, do keep the game coming!

Should we assume another patch as well?

Thanks for the notice, and for the hard work you guys are putting in to get this game to an even higher level. Just, wouldn't it have been better to do this after the weekend (say, on Monday)? Right now, you're hurting almost all of Europe in their morning/early afternoon playtime, something that wouldn't be as bad if done on a Monday afternoon
