# 1 Patch Error Console Messages
01-26-2014, 07:17 AM
The following is an excerpt from my launcher's console. I've been having some patcher issues and frankly I'm totally lost as to the reason. Only internet issues are on STO/NW with the patching. So maybe it's something to do with internet routing or whatever but at least heres some more information.

PatchClientLib: HTTP patching disconnected from stohttppatch.crypticstudios.com:

The logs show that a quality network connection cannot be maintained, which is why the patching is failing...

Use the 'Trace Route' and 'Net Test' network diagnostics described in this thread... http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/sh...d.php?t=225155

... and post the results, as this will provide some information on the quality of your Internet connection to the STO Servers...

Okay, apparently it was the US Patching proxy server (or it's connection to the main proxy server) that was the issues.

I changed it from US to None and now the problem has resolved.
