Do they breed while not in your inventory? I've been sticking one of each unique one in my federation bank, but without food. Were I to put food in there would they keep going at it?

I have seen players with a tribble buff?

All the tribbles I have, have zero stats. What the devil is a tribble buff and what kind of tribble do that? (And no, not that kind of buff )

Yes, put food in and it vanishes to be replaced by a Tribble.

ETA: Put the Tribble in with your devices and click on it. It depends on the Tribble's special traits, but that activates them anyway.

I gave one to each of my BOs they play with them on ground missions, and get a buff.
