Trying to train one of my BO's in BP1, but it's greyed out. Both of them are LTs so they can learn it, though i did spend skill points on the skills they're replacing, still that shouldnt matter should it?

Anyway, any idea why i can't train them this?

Just to make sure the obvious is covered... what type of Bridge Officers are they? IIRC, Boarding Party is an Engineer's skill.

i thought boarding party was tactical, either way i have two LT tacticals, One LT sci and One LT eng so its not an issue.

i figured out the problem, yet again my stupidity got the best of me.

my engineer already has that ability and my starship is a science class....so i wont be using that ability till i get an LT engineering spot on my ship. Thank you though.
