Basically, I have attempted to subscribe to Star Trek Online retail through a Visa debit card. I put in ALL the correct information but it is rejected; apparently the details are not correct. But that isn't possible.\
only billing (you have to deal directly with them) and the place that issued you your debit can fix it.
Some banks auto declined transactions (even the 1 dollar verification check) if it come from outside of the country area of the card holder.
It has worked with EVERY other thing I have purchased from outsdie the country - through Steam, and through a great many other places.
Better yet; turn your card over and call the number on the back. Ask these questions;
∙ What address is on my bank account?
∙ What is the billing address for online purchases for my Debit Card?
∙ Do I have sufficient funds available?
The trick here is that the bank account may have the correct address but the visa portion of the card may have the incorrect address. Some places are more relaxed with their policies on verifying billing information than others (Like how some places wont make you sign the credit card slip so you can get through the line faster).
Wait... you are telling me you tried jamming your credit card into the machine 15 times? Those charges are not charges but better described as your bank authorized and holding amounts; they will clear off the account and you should not be charged any overage fees. If you do this is something to take up with the bank as charging overage fees for pending charges is a very bad business practice.
