Basically a list of the things that get me really angry mostly.. some ideas and some others but mostly its a
"get rid of this annoying thing please" list

These a genuine problems! they affect usability, controls and all that sort of stuff.. drives me insane

Option to lock Hotbar trays to current numerical tray, perhaps a little lock button akin to the one found on the power distribution panel.


On ground, Klingon, After exploiting someone, they knock you back with either a butt or something else, just after you fired your weapon, the weapon does not fire because you where knocked back
but the cool down on the weapon exploit attack has started as if you did fire and as id you did take advantage of the exploit when infact the opponent is still alive unharmed by you.


Right click on the Que to "Auto que", same mechanic as Auto Fire.


Add slider bars to market exchange to buy/sell multiple items, add sliders mechanic for items in replicators and on the exchange, infact basically anywhere when your dealing with multiple items of the same type.


Signs in on the klingon home world and on bases to direct where things are.. Signs should be in klingon, however on the minimap and the large map designated areas can be in English.


Klingon side Transporter color should be red not blue.


If your fwd shield quadrant is down and your opponent launches a torpedo, if while the torpedo is en route, you rotate to the port or starboard quadrant the torpedo should hit those shields not hull
but like magic it still somehow impacts hull event thought there is a FULL shield quadrant in it path.


In secure system, engage 6 - 7 enemies and in some others a msg pops up telling you the situation but then after you destroy the first ship a 2nd message appears telling you nothing of consequence.. all this does is anger me and its irritating to the point where the word cannot convey my feelings toward itproperly.
I suggest you remove the 2nd massage as it has no purpose. I mean after a few hours repeating secure system on fed side cause of inaccessible pvp and lack of content and generally everything else it gets old really bad... Basically Rear Admiral is bittersweet


The Dref Cruiser has a stupid and ultimately useless Immunity ability that deploys a shield bubble and basically makes it immune to dmg of any sort of a short period...
Devs, I am RA 5 and im in an escort running at 125 weps power, ontop of that Dual cannons in proper number, combined with an array of abilities dedicated to doing the most dps I can... This pathetic dref cruisers ability is negligible… provide someone like me with a REAL challenge, dref cruisers are soo cheap man, its not even possible.


Ok ok! Just because im tapping down on a key on keyboard to fire weps as much as i can and to tap another to reinforce shields at the same time, whilst im doing this this seems to interfere
with clicking abilities on the Hotbar a thte same time im pressing kets on the keyboard, it too several clicks to actually get an ability to activate WHILST i was pressing buttons to fire weapons
and reinforce shields - You know that makes me want to punch someone.


ok ok! supplemental! - When your press n hold the wasd keys to move around in space while at Full impulse i notice the same thing... LAG in abilities activating when i mouse over them to click them.
ohh you know your probably right about Pve not mattering too much but i guarantee you that in pvp, milliseconds count and it can decide if your dead or not.. and btw.. Whoever said that STO ship to ship play is like the old tall ships in battle in regards to the length of the battle was a complete MORON! i can take out a BS in like 10 seconds, if that!, WTF?


Space – Borg
The borg have some nice abilities and you’ve got the “swam pwn” mechanic of the Borg down pat.. a nasty sphere and a couple of probes bring the hurt nice and deep where it need to be.
But spheres, I reckon they need to be more powerful in some areas.. and Cubes need to be damn dangerous to take on.. even with a group of fed ships… if a group of says 15 fed ships take on one cube at least 5 players should be annihilated before it pops and the explosion radius is good but there should be a bigger radius that should infect all ships say within 7km of the cube with Borg drone teams.. that tactical team should clear up.. as drones drifting in space could grab onto passing ships trying to get away from the cube or trying to get within for the loot.


Ground – Borg
Medical drones are awesome but there too humanoid in practice.. every drone should already have a medical ability to resurrect a drone no matter which drone it is… I don’t think I have to explain myself in this regard.. the borg are machines with nano probes…


In addition to that perhaps boss drones or some sort of assimilation drone should have the assimilate ability which takes one of your crew hostage and assimilates them turning them against you.. any medical ability or respawn should cancel this out so that you don’t loose the officer forever, basically Cryptic.. the Borg aren’t doing anything except fighting… and fighting isn’t what the borg does best


However! Perhaps u SHOULD loose your officer to the borg, I mean it not that hard to get merits or BO skill points is it? Maybe we should examine why we get soe much of Merit points and BO’s point.. lets add some pain! Lets loose officers this way.. i

IIRC they kicked that idea around at one point, but dropped it because they couldn't find anybody who could translate stuff into Klingon. There aren't many people who are fluent in the language. (Some random person on the forums is not good enough, it would need to be somebody with commercial translation experience who they could actually hire)

No it doesn't. You can rotate shields into the path of a torpedo just fine. You probably didn't quite turn in time.

I disagree with a lot of this. A ship blowing up that does 20,000 damage to nearby ships should turn the drones on board into clouds of carbon with a sprinkling of molecular metallic compounds. Nothing else should be left.

As far as the number of dead Fed ships, that is more of a game balance issue. What might leave one squad of 15 undamaged might completely destroy another group of players with less skill and/or gear. Cryptic has to walk a fine line between tough and unplayability. If you feel it is too easy, try playing with MK 1 shields and weapons on your ship.

On the ground, I can see any nano-infested body coming back to life. See the "Schlock Mercenary" 31st century series for lots of this. Once a body has been vaporized by the expose/exploit -> disintegrate series, this would no longer be possible.

As far as assimilation goes, the Fed in "Voyager" seemed to be a half step ahead of the borg in nanite tech all the time. If anything, our science officers should have a level 4 skill "Suborn enemy" which allows mind control as another form of crowd control for a few seconds (very few seconds in pvp), until the nanites in the host fight off the "infection".

Finally no. I spend WAY to long LOOKING for BOs that have traits I want, let alone the time spent building them once they have been acquired. With only a few rare BOs per person, and only a small% of those having truly useful traits (superior mind meld anyone?) permanent BO loss in battle appeals to me as much as permanent gear loss. I rate this as highly as I do permanent player death.
