If you guys weren't flying the wrong combo, you'd hear about how you're flying the wrong combo about 90% less often.
I've never been told I'm flying the wrong combo, until today, when I got involved in a thread where someone was mad that Tactical Officers can't train Science skills to Science Bridge Officers.
Until then, I was happy being a Cruiser with Go Down Fighting (in a Cruiser, this skill actually makes sense, as you can get crazy bonus damage when you get really low on health), Attack Pattern Alpha (I can actually turn a T4 and T5 Cruiser) and Ramming Speed (because it's crazy amounts of the awesome).
Its your $15 a month, play how you want to play. If it works for you and you are having fun, thats all that matters.
What he said. (I'm a tactical officer flying a heavy cruiser atm)
When I was levelling a rogue back when WoW was new, people were constantly giving me crap because I used dual maces (on my server 99% of the rogues were dagger rogues, the rest were swords). However, I loved my maces because to me, nothing says beatdown better than a zombie ninja (undead rogue) smacking you around with a couple of big-a$$ hammers.
You can take build advice, or ship class advice, but once ou start doing things because someone else tells you that's the way it should be, you might as well just hand over your account and let them play for you, imo.
