I think these 2 should be on a shared cd so that you dont get locked down to prevent using Science Team when hit by VM, every science officer ive come up against in t5 pvp uses this combo everytime.

Personally, these Effects should be PvE only. Same with some other space and ground effects that are overpowered in PvP.

so basicly remove all skills from pvp so we can just bash spacebar 24/7?

Remove PVP from the game.

Removing this combo makes VM utterly useless in PVP in my opinion. Currently, Subnuc and VM is the *only* way to shut someone down, and that's assuming your teammates don't use Science Team on them to cure both effects, which they should be doing at t5. In all my PvP, I've never seen a VM last for more than a few seconds on anyone, unless they're off by themselves, in which case they're just asking for it and deserve to get combo-killed.

Granted, that's just my opinion. I honestly thought that Science Team should've stayed unusable while under the effects of VM, since Science team is the 'heal everything' ability and STO is really lacking in a variety of cures for multiple varied status effects. Now, cycling two Science Teams with Attack Pattern Omega makes an escort user nigh invulnerable against any offensive science debuffs.

You can remap the spacebar if you feel like. And I didn't say "all" skills, just the overpowered ones.

so still basicly all of them 50% of the skills are OP in pvp in 1 way or a other the other 50% arent worth a BO slot even if the OP skills were removed. so thats basicly removing all skills

what is this fictional pvp you speak of?

wait, is it that queue thingy that us feds have to wait 40-45 minutes to get into, but only lasts 3-5 minutes cause the klingons steamroll us cause we barely get 3-5 matches over a 3 hour span and all suck because of it? .. we already dont have pvp, where have you been

i do agree with the OP though, they should share a cooldown .. someone mentioned "but its the only way to lock someone down" .. have your teammate hit him with VM then
