A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
do these count towards other ships of that type? IE does "cruiser captain" count to all cruisers? I am in a cruiser right now and I hate it, but i already put points into heavy cruiser. If I put into, say, escort next level, will I be missing out on stuff from "escort captain" or was the tier 1 only ship?
The basic skills "Escort Captain" or "Cruiser Captain" do contribute to the higher tier ships. But the specific skills "Heavy Escort" or "Research Science Vessel" only apply to those specific tier of ship.
However, there is word that those skills may -eventually- work to contribute higher. Otherwise, there's no sense in spending points into them, if you're only going to outlevel them and subsequently waste the skillpoints entirely.
