United Star Ship

United Space Ship

Take your pick from TOS.

NCC denotes the registry number, not the name. The name is U.S.S. ... something. I doesn't mean United States Ship, since technically ... the US won't exist in the same capacity as it is now in the STO timeline.

Here's a kieenex ... you look like you needed one.

Example:

NCC - 12345 (A)
USS - Space Ship

First off I think it's United Star Ship. As for the prefix, it's correct as it is. Picard never introduced himself as the Captain of the NCC Enterprise. You're the Captain of the USS [ship name], NCC [registry number].

If your ship (in game) shows:

NCC - Enterprise
USS - 1701 D

Then i want a screen shot, cause I'm calling shenanigans. Look at your saucer ... it clearly states:

USS - your name (on top of the registry number in a straight line)
NCC - your numbers in a curving line (if the saucer is round- ish) and the numbers are black, bold and outlined in reddish orange.

Stop trolling, you're not doing a good job at it.

USS Enterprise

USS is short for United Star Ship

NCC-1701

NCC has been presumed to mean Naval Construction contract, with the "1701" meaning the 17th major design, vessel number 01 in the series. Note that the Constitution is presumed to be NCC-1700, or the 'class vessel' (first of the series) who's name the rest are called by. For example, the Enterprise is a Constitution Class starship (so named after the first one built).
