# 1 Scramble I, II, and III

Im crurious to see if anyone has noticed a difference between these abilities. The text when i mouse over any of these 3 skills says that it is a +1 confuse, but i would swear that scramble III almost always makes the enemy team attack each other and buff my team, why scramble I seems to have little to no effect on the outcome of the battle.

I believe the only difference is duration, from what I've seen between I and II. Could be wrong, as it is two different captains/ships/sets of equipment that can change that up, but the higher level does seem to last longer.

I run scramble 2 and since i'm an escort I have no other use for science stuff so I have consoles cramming +50 into my sensor probes. I'm of the opinion that this ability is wildly overpowered in pve. Jam targeting sensors makes one guy not attack me but attack my friends for a little while, scramble makes everyone attack everyone else but not anyone on my team for a long time... really? this is working as intended? The borg will be a joke when we have five people coordinating a cooldown rotation so no enemy is ever unscrambled.

in one of my personal experiances in cracked planet i was just trying to test out scramble III, i impulsed over to the fed starting area, feds just all sitting together really tightly, i decloak about 3km away from the one i was targeting for the scramble. about 15 seconds later theyre dead, i have engineering and science teams, and hazard emitters on me and the other team was dead.

Ive never had scramble I ever do that kind of damage for me but i wish they would clarify the chance to target enemies with buffs and allies with weapons.

So in PVP, how does it work exactly? I tried it when I was fighting some Klingons and I saw it go off, but I could not tell what it did exactly. They can't fire on enemies, only friends, after that? Obviously couldn't they just choose to not attack at all while the power was active? Does Science Team heal it (like it does for Viral Matrix, which is also based on Sensor Probes)?

Thanks

In PvP it makes all ships show as friendly / blue and can make you think for a second before hitting that heal you were about to throw to that low hull ship when you realise it's actually the Klingon ship you were all just shooting a moment ago. If you don't take that second and blindly hit heals hoping they go to your allies via assist you can end up turning a winning situation into a very easily lost one. The other night I may... possibly..... have thrown extend shields on the ship I was previously blasting away >_> I don't think anyone noticed.
