It was buggy to me too, I just went back to the Admiral several times and it finally worked. I knew something was wrong when I tried to get a ship and I had to pay full price. I think it took me 4 times revisiting the Admiral's office before it worked.

Yeah thats a generic response that they seem to send for pretty much everything.

Because they have bothered to respond at all means that they already know about it, so it shouldnt be long until they sort it. Probably after this downtime.

Glad I made Captain before this bug developed.

It apparently affects those who chose an escort at level. They have acknowledged the problem, apparently stopped new instances of it happening, and are working on fixing those of use who are still bugged. Until they announce or patch in a fix, there really isn't more to add.... is there?

For players who are in this state (the bug that creates this issue was addressed recently but it doesn't retroactively fix existing issues) - you must work with CS to clear the mission. In the meantime we are also working on a manual solution which will allow you to clear this mission but it will be several days before it gets to Holodeck.

How exactly are we supposed to work with CS? The ticket I put in for this going on 5 days ago now has not even been looked at yet. I'm more than happy to work with CS. Are they willing to work with us? Why does this need a manual solution that customers need to wait for to be able to clear it? Just have a GM log in and clear the mission for the customer.

A suggestion I have might be the easiest to implement a /complete promotion captain command that marks the mission complete in the db for those that have all the steps complete. Knowing some visual basic not C++ it might be harder than I think to input in c++ though. In VB it would be a simple matter of a couple lines of code to check if the db has the correct stages done and if not returns an error message.

cannot advance as well and if you do finally resolve the issue, would you also refund our 246 k for having to buy the admiral rank ship, please?
