I do support the idea of calling the pre-teens "Wesleys", though.
Age of character and actor do not necessarily coincide.

Shatner was born March 22, 1931
Koenig was born September 14, 1936

So, they're a mere five (5) years apart.

As for me I also get carded all the time. Why they want to see my AARP card is just beyond me.
