I seriously think the cost for leveling skills at Admiral rank should be a lot less than it is now. Let me put it this way:

When you level up your Phaser skill to 9, it increases its effectiveness by 52. When you level up your Polaron skill to 9, it increases its effectiveness by 52. Why am I spending more for the exact same end result? It would make a lot of people happier and allow you to keep the skill cap if you were to lower the cost of Admiral-level skills.

Because the game was designed without a skill cap. Hence, weird skill pricing issues and Zinc covering his ass about it on multiple interviews. "Style" my butt, they messed that up. Without the skill cap, the only difference between Phaser and Polaron skill would be a bit of grinding.
