Funny how so much of the forum chatter is on grouping and premades, yet when you finally find a good group; somebody just leaves... And like any good domino effect, the rest follow in order. One at a time, each member leaves until there are only two. That awkward silence lingers as they decide if they should rebuild another powerhouse team or click "leave group".

And then your alone... Sure, the next killer group lies right around the corner... Could this be the state of the game? A few guildies leave, then a few more... Your friend list dwindles until there are only two. That awkward silence before your alone... Lifetime membership in hand... Wondering if the excitement is right around the corner...

I've regretted purchasing a lifetime for a while now.

nope, its estimated late 2010 to early-mid 2011 . Arenanet is fairly good about not releasing stuff until its finished.

I did buy the art book though, its sexy as hell. mostly concept art but a couple alpha renderings.

Ill be playing this on/off for a while.. I have no interest in spending a lot of time in a game that is as halfa*sed as this, but it *is* fun in moderate amounts of time.

NCsoft stated in an investor call that no "major release" would take place in 2010 so I wouldn't expect GW 2 before 2011 if I were you.

This happens in every single MMO, bar NONE. There is no reason it should be any different here.

And:

Melodrama much?
