To everyone
have fun its a casual game the rewards for pvp are trivial.
If you win or lose you get hooked up at the end of the match. There is no need to cloak forever or cry about getting ganked at the entrance. If you are in a losing game just full impulse into the enemy and let the match be over faster. It is good for all involved that way. There will be no death penealty for PVP no game in thier rightmind has a battleground system with a death penalty. I would also recommend to not PUG (pick up group) it seems to be a total waste of time since most people do not enter the BG with a build that is set up for PVP. Cruisers please build with some support moves a "tank" build is worthless. Science are support, which means heal as much as you can CC when you can or if there is a more than 1 science vessel but healing is the strength of the science vessel (and cruiser IMO).
Escort focus fire....and heal others it really makes a difference.

I think I agreed with your first two lines, after that it turned into drivel of someone telling me how to play the game in their vision of the game, because they think they know the game better then I do.

I stopped taking your text seriously after sentence in bold. I will NOT participate in the uncompetitive game. I don't get any satisfaction from running head first into the wall. Your advices are also subjective.

every day i log in this game becomes harder and harder to enjoy.

one mission i currently have, at BG5, is to do the BOrg war zone in Kerrat 15 times.
and you're always outnumbered, since there are 10 times more Feddies than Klingons. odds are, you're not going to win anyways. oh, and there's only 1 re-spawn point. and if you can avoid getting spawncamped by Feddy griefers (and there are a LOT more of them than Klingon griefers, hionestly) all the probes that are for some reason attatched to the Encryption Nodes can be targetted....but dont take damage.

if my chess set was missing pieces, i'd find it hard to enjoy chess as well. GTFO

A friendly suggestion to you then, please re-read the state of the game adress, where it states death penalty is coming....in whatever manner they choose to do it...it will come...

AGREE 100%....sorry OP but there is NO point in a totally uncompetative game....I can go read a book and get more pleasure out of it than pay $X per month in order to rush to my death...

I am curious, it seem slike there are klink players that would rather sit in stealth in a pvp match then lose a match? if that is the case then they fail to realize that it is a game and the in or lose you get rewards for it.
Real competition is when both teams are ready and willing to go, real comp is balanced out ship classes adn skills (we all know Subnuc needs tweeks, I am a sci officer and i know this) To stay stealthed or stay dead in an attempt to grief the enemies by causing the game to be "boring" "dry" or "a standstill" is truely sad. People that do that need to look at their E-pride and understand its a game.
My advice on how to build a class for pvp is simply that my advice, take it leave it who cares I usually play with a premade only but the rare occasion that we get a PUG in our group its sad to see that a science vessel will have High Yield and run with no aux power (which is the sci vessel strength) or a cruiser that has no ability to heal (where the cruisers shine) and again escorts that never heal others are what klinks want to see.
Play how you want by all means its your cash but when you fail time and time again in pvp think about what i posted.
again its a game enjoy it, have fun with it but please don't try to grief people players by stealthing or staying dead to avoid another kill.

Its funny that when 2 or 3 concerted people put together a real effort even suicide newbs like this guy can't ruin you for getting bigger rewards..

1-2 idiots running around without shields is a really hard obstical to overcome though. not only do you have less attack and healing potential, but you also have a timer working against you.
