Just want to jump in here, and suggest that you edit this post a bit, since these generally result in infractions.

Oh and as far as "easy workarounds"... no. There is no easy workaround to RSP. Target shields doesn't do crap because it only lasts a few seconds. Enough time to kill an escort using it, maybe. As far as I know, there's absolutely nothing you can do about feedback pulse if you use beams. The skill is hilariously one-sided for klingons and makes no sense.

Science team counters VM... sometimes. So I have a 50% chance or whatever to not instalose to someone using it. Wow. Skillful.

RSP is a better counter to VM, really. It's pretty funny how many skills RSP obsoletes.

Now who's throwing around baseless claims. Target subsystems shields debuff lasts for 30 seconds, you'd know this if had acctually tested this. All versions of it stack with eachother, so if you can manage to use a tiny bit of co-ordination it is entirely possible, and quite easy in fact, to drop an RSP tanks shields entirely and laugh as they explode.

You are correct that feedback pulse is uncounterable beyond re-targeting or de-equiping beams which just isn't an option for most people. This becomes a serious issue when half or more of the enemy team is abusing the hell out of the skill and I agree it really needs to be toned down and given a counter.

I have found that science team 2 appears to remove VM on myself and others about 75 -85% of the time and Attack pattern omega 3 (only for people flying escorts, raptors and BoPs) removes it 100% of the time regardless of rank of VM. VM is only an issue if you are not A) flying an escort with omega 2 or 3 equipped, B) running a ship with one or more copies of science team 2 or greater, or C) In a competent group of pvpers who acctually give a damn about teamwork and winning instead of pew pewing.
