***Resolved Issues***
  • "Login failed for unknown reason" error
  • Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
  • Slow patching in the launcher
  • A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally

A very similar situation frequently arose during the early days of Open Beta, and was associated with heavy traffic. Could it be that Season One's release drew so many people back to STO, to try out the new stuff, that they have somehow exceeded their capacity?

I hope they do. It seems like whatever they're doing also affects everything else. I'm getting timeouts & never ending load screens just changing zones.

IMO, they should just take down the servers for maintenance again if it'll give everyone a smoother playing experience.

i got the same thing about 5times in a row in the past 30 minutes i feel like i'm just stuck in sector space cause i can't switch maps... i tried different maps but got the same responce... way NOT cool... i could care less if they didn't plan on this many people coming to try the new stuff... they should have planned for it... i've said this probably about 5times in the past 3days ... its "bad planning" on their part.... grrrrrr
