Don't forget to double check your IE settings. I am not sure how many peoples computers I've fixed with internet connection problems by doing 2 simple things:
1) Proceed to Tools > Internet Options > Clear Private data (W7) / Delete cookies and offline files (Xp)
If you have IE8 and do not see the drop down menu. You need to r-click blank space to the right of your "Favorites" button and select "Menu Bar" to see it.
2) Proceed to File > Verify "Work Offline" is not selected.
~ I know this seems like a cookie cutter responce, but you need to check these things as well. Port forwarding etc is a long term solution to make sure patching / game play is smooth. This is the basics to make sure that theres nothing clogging the pipes.
Not able to connect here either. Can't connect with the patcher or directly with the game client.
Patcher sits at Version ST.0.20100225A.6... and does nothing else.
If I connect directly with the Gameclient it sits at connecting to account servers for ever then come up saying Connection to account server timed out...
It is most likely not a connection issue on my end, I've made sure that I've enabled the proper port forwarding and such and it is now recently changed to cause this... I have never the less powercycled my network and I am still unable to connect
