lol i actually spend a lot of time in those encounters farming for stuff to sell, but only because people charge lame prices for mk X equipment and mk IV/VI ( for memory alpha upgrading)....what i do is just warp out and find a quieter instance.
Can you prove they are selling in-game currency for real world money? They aren't exactly breaking the rules by what they are doing in the DSE. If only I could get into those for some quick levelling of my alts :p
only a GM investigation could prove it, but i did confirm they were from china via pinyin. But i can almost guarantee the end result will be RMT. Why else would they be in there 24/7 (server downtime excluded) and have similar gibberish names like "lilasa001, lilasa002, lilasa009, snake999, snakeabc, snakeabc3" etc.
but if they are indeed within the rules, GM action still needs to be taken to open at least a second map so others can at least attempt to gain loot ..as far as i know this is the only zone where blue mk X items drop.
Well, if you want to get your crafting skills up on all 3 Crafts (Science, Tactical and Engineer), you have to get a LOT of mats, you can either buy them for exorbitant prices on the Exchange or farm em. Plus, you'll need the Common quality base item as well, which again, exorbitant prices on Exchange or farm for em.
I blew through all the Credits I had earned up to RA5 just to get Tactical up to T3, and I guess Science and Engineering require 4 times more.
So yeah. If you want to craft, or at least be able to craft some decent items, you can easily run out of money using the Exchange to farm for resources. The nice thing about crafting though, once you unlock it all, you can use it to really buff an alt with some nice gear.
