A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
So I was thinking of taking my laptop away for some gaming while im on holiday. I appreciate that the quality would be at the lowest settings but I would still like to play. Anyway i was just wondering if anyone had actually tried running on this chipset.
The laptop has win7 4gb ddr2 and dual core cpu.
Im guessing from the fact that the sys requirements say it will work with Intel HD Onboard that it must run on this right? Since the intel hd is well....
I have a ATI Radeon HD 3200, and very similar specs to your system. Space is fine on lower settings for me but ground is a completely different matter. I'm not sure if it's the onboard graphics or not, but it is almost unplayable on ground. Its very very laggy, but the odd thing is it will run very smooth if I select a npc or player infront of me but the moment the npc/player is off screen it becomes choppy again. I have no idea if it is the ATI Radeon HD 3200 that causes this, but that has been my experience. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear it.
Latency off-screen sounds more like a buffering issue, as in pre-loading, which can be anywhere from internet to cpu to ram to etc.
Are you digging into your paging file?
I ran it with a 7600GT and it could nearly do full graphics with only a chop every half second (i know cpu was taking a lot of load, but it was only a single core).
Really doubt you are running Intel HD video with those specs, either that or you got ripped off.
If you are, Intel Video requires some digging ont he intel website to find drivers for, might want to look into that.
I haven't found this nor really looked into this, but it sounds like you need to tell the game that you are in fact running a duel core in the graphics settings. If you haven't open up the advanced settings and see what you can find.
