Potential Workarounds: Double-click the loot item instead of the Take or Take All action buttons. In many cases this will allow you to claim and receive the item(s). I've also had some success leaving a drop container and moving out of pickup range for a few minutes, moving back into pickup range and then being able to claim the item immediately.
That's what I ment to say in my post (edited it, so you have no proof I didn't muhahahaha)
Hey i dont know if this has already been addressed (cant find a thread) but i recently switched to a cruiser from an escort and back again and now my engines show cruiser stats instead of the escort stats (as well as shields) and i was hoping to get this fixed. I did put in a ticked but im hoping theirs some quick fix or work around.
you know EVERY single time I have lost mission progress...it tells me the mission is done BUT when i go to leave space it will warn me of losing progress. With that in mind i kinda wondered if it was a slight latency deal going on. So now at the end of each mission just as I am about to depart i check the dialogue and if it says ".....you may lose mission progress" i cancel the order to leave the sector...wait a mere few seconds and then repeat the request to leave. Sure enough the second time around I ge tthe normal "your mission is complete, would you like to return to sector space" to the point that I dont think I have lost any progress(other than once with zelle of course grr lol) since i have been doing this. I have no idea if that is of any help but i thought i should say something as I seem to be benefiting from doing this.
I find if i remove a BO from an assigned "away team" slot i cant then replace ANY BO to that slot. it greys out and i can only affect the slot above..if i remove from the slot above i then have TWO greyed out slots and so on.

One last issue and really it IS only a niggle. collision detection I know has been brought up, but it's the collision in the starbases and such that drive me CRAZY LOL. here we are in this nice polite star trek world..and some ignorant NPC walks around the corner into me and bounces me away from the npc i was trying to do business with..at first i found it funny but it's becoming a real pet hate..I am assuming due to the dynamics of space combat and ground all being tied together that walking though each other would not be possible?? hehe I will live with it but sometimes it happens alot in one visit to a base and grr yeah it's annoying. but i know it's hardly worthy of going top of the list but just thought i would mention.
You know it's really good to see how much presence cryptic have onn these forums now, you really have set up some amazing ideas for feedback etc. But even better is seeing players repesponding to that and working this thing out together, awesome!
Trapped: Debris from the wormhole can get players stuck
As funny as this may sound, getting stuck in a mission called Trapped, it's actually a big deal, and it's been sent to the developers. The problem is that, once stuck, our self-help utilities often don't work to help you get unstuck in this mission. The current workaround is to log out of the game for a little while while the instance resets itself, usually after 15 minutes. When you come back, you should be in the next stage of the mission, and good to go. However, we hate asking players to log out, since it's no fun at all and ruins the flow of the game. The dev team is looking closely at this issue and hopes to have it fixed quickly.
This bug happened to me a couple of days ago. After trying all the /stuck and /killme options, as well as logging out and back in twice (including a client restart, but did not wait fifteen minutes) I finally realized I had one other option: the Abandon Ship ability. When the ship self destructed, I chose Respawn and was finally drawn into the wormhole properly.
So, a temporary work-around for this issue is to use the Abandon Ship ability if you have it.
Unable to collect items from loot window
This has been a difficult issue to track down, but has been widely reported. Players report issues taking all items from loot windows on everything from space anomalies to enemy drops. It is currently being investigated by QA and the dev team.
I *think* I've spotted how this one can occur. I could be talking rubbish though. All the times its happened to me its been multiple items in the Window. And I've miss-clicked "Take" instead of "Take all". This seems to generate the bug. I've only tried it a couple of times, and it seems to fit.
