Thank you for the info! I was not aware of this alternate way for installing the driver. I learned something new! I will install both drivers in the morning, and try to reinstall the game. If it fails I will let you know, but for now I send my thanks to you for taking the time to assist me with a possible solution.

It worked! I had a small issue with the Creative driver DL as my system would not allow one of the apps to install, but the driver itself did install. I also updated the Ethernet driver with np. Then reinstalled the game with it's mega patch, and now it is working as if it never had a problem. TYVM again for the assistance. Hopefully this post with it info will help some of the other players having similar issues. Again THANKS!!
