# 1 Beware the Trapped
03-12-2010, 08:05 PM
The mission "Trapped" in NGC 1218 has the potential to actually "trap" you in the debris once the wormhole opens. When you ask for GM help after logging out a few times, trying to wedge yourself free, trying to kill yourself the GM will simply respond to abort the mission which you cannot do. There is no option open on the screen to abort the mission and the button "abort mission" under the /killme option is disabled. You are stuck and no one will help you. I guess I lost the game. Reroll time.

In all fairness the GM finally responded to join a pvp match. That worked...so far.

I received frequent disconnects and "server not responding" errors when I did that mission. I had to log in at least twice before I could complete the mission. That happened while I was in the wormhole.

Having fun right now sitting in debris... trapped... 10 minutes. No GM yet. Tried to log out... exit out... everytime I come back in... stuck in debris. Awesome fun.

Boggles my mind why there isn't a stuck or killme command that kills you.

Update: Ended up getting out after using an engine boost, evasive maneuvers, brace for impact and ramming speed all at once!

If you log out, and STAY logged out for like 10 minutes (harsh, I know), the instance should despawn and kick you to Sector Space. You can then just pick up the mission at the last checkpoint.

Did you try that already?
