I can understand the Gul who puts down the terminal, I can at least see that. But the Borg and Undine who just appear constantly, with no logical reason and no obvious spawner is unnecessarily annoying and complex.

There's legitimately making ground combat harder, and there's just duct tape slapping on "infinite mobs will make it harder".

This combined with no respawn points but the first one on explore ground missions and they *REALLY* suck.

Outside of "Infected" it's not that big deal. Borg only respawn as long as their distribution node is intact (destroy it as first) and in one mission the undine respawn as long as their leader (warmaster) is alive (ignore the other undine and focus all fire onto the warmaster).

But "Infected" is really annoying because everything respawns, even the distribution nodes.

This is not true, sadly. On an Explore mission, there *IS* no node, they just keep beaming in. Over and over, with no logical reason.
