First off I want to join a fleet, but I don't wanna join a fleet where as the recruiter puts his pre-typed message up showing how glorified his/her fleet is, what is expected, and what is not. When I read those messages I feel alienated, not interested.
I'm looking for a small casual pve fleet, whose sole purpose is being helpful, and having fun. I don't mind doing everything else the fleet might want to do... but it's not my STO priority to do Pvp, etc...
Now for you recruiters that want info, I'm a Commander grade 1... I just got my new escort... (I'm a tactical officer) I plan on finishing this playthrough than starting a Science officer because I love being support. I'll say this I'm not on 24/7 but I am on at least every other day, the longest I'll be offline might be 2-3 days tops.
Now to anyone else searching these forums for fleets, If you lone wanders are interested. We could meet up and start our own fleet, (I'm thinking (Zeta Fleet) just an idea haha) So if anybody is interested in starting a fleet, post or message me, and maybe we can start a casual friendly fleet?

Pre-typed fleet recruiters, I feel your pain. I hand craft every single PM I send. And I only send messages to those I feel are fit for our fleet, and rest assured, it isn't for everyone.
Our fleet has basically two rules: be mature, and be respectful. Other than that, you can play as you wish. We do have TS3 and Forums and such for those wanting to use them, but it's not required (past initial registration, of course). We definitely don't get bogged down in politics or rank or medals. We prefer to just play the game and have fun doing it.
Anyway, not sure how well I'm making my case, as I'm a bit tired and not thinking very well, so it'd be better if you just checked out our philosophies, structure, etc. at our website (http://www.shadows-sto.com) and see if it's what you are looking for. I didn't read anything about not wanting to rp, but I also didn't see anything about wanting to rp, so here's my attempt at recruiting you. Can't blame a guy for trying, right?
If you end up looking for a rp fleet, the 1st Tactical Wing is a very small fleet, and in need of new members. We do a lot of heavy rping, like having a backstory to all our characters, but we don't go super hardcore and talk like we're in Star Trek all the time. Most of the time we talk like any other fleet in fleet chat, though if we end up doing missions together, we do do things In-Charcter.

We're a fun, freindly, and social guild / fleet who also play as Alliance in WoW, on the Darkspear (EU) server.
Our WoW playerbase is huge, but we've just got started in Star Trek Online, and are looking for members to join our new fleet.
It's always a good laugh with the Munquis. We hold our own events, competitions, games, and we're now on to our 4th real-life Munqui-Meet. Our tours have so far taken us to Amsterdam, Blackpool (Yes 'THE' Blackpool... the one with the tower), Denmark, and next week some of us are off to meet up in Tallin...
I'm not quite sure where that is either, but apparently the currency is quite hard to get hold of, and it has an airport.

So I am looking to start my own Fleet or join one, I am on at least every other week. I mostly play alone and am looking for casual gamers who just need help from time to time. Not into team chat, websites or having to go to some special place to sign up and jump through hoops.
