On that note... I am making green Rice Krispie squares with my two daughters this morning and then I am making a nice Guiness stew for supper with some lovely fresh crusty bread.

Not going out tonight though for all the drinking... but I will have a few more Guiness or Kilkenny tonight as I watch my PVRed episode of Lost.

What are you all doing to mark the day?

Cheers!

I just finished off a bottle of Green Tea. It was actually a sort of golden colour, though...

To mark the day?
Will raise an eyebrow to why someone is having a boozefest to celebrate a saint.

What? It just doesn't make sense...

Of course not, men will gladly take any excuse to find a reason to drink beer, just look at Homer Simpson ^_^

Bad kitty! Trying to derail my nice light and happy thread about St. (Sir) Patrick (Stewart)'s Day.

Bring on the Green T-Shirts and Hats!

I dislike when the most glorious Irish Holiday falls in the middle of the week.

I'm trying to keep my job...so coming in the day after still drunk as hell....doesn't really work....and I can't afford to take the next day off....

Gah...Sucks to be a responsible Irishman.....(I know...I know...Contradiction in terms....)

But at least I can still enjoy some parts of the day.

With the Irish (for whom St. Patrick is one of the patron saints), any excuse to have a party.

As for me, as I worked last night and will tonight, I'll be sleeping most of it. After I get up, however, I can look at all the birthday wishes I got. (Damn that getting older thing!)
