***Resolved Issues***
  • "Login failed for unknown reason" error
  • Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
  • Slow patching in the launcher
  • A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally

Hey guys,

1 of our fleet members seem's to have a problem with the pre-patch,He has downloaded it earlier today(2074mb) he then played the game for a bit and then left,once he left the launcher then started again and started to download the pre-patch again(2074mb).

Is there any others with this problem or a solution to this?

If it helps, I noticed my prepatch folder is actually no larger after the download.

I'm beginning to suspect something went amiss....

Indeed. I've discovered that a small 16mb patch is overwriting the whole 2Gig pre patch folder. If this is the case then everyone that's downloaded it has been wasting there time. I've backed up my 2000mb pre-patch for tomorrow(Hopefully).

I would advise Cryptic to look into this issue immediately. GL
